Sara was born October
11th, 2006 at 12:24 pm at South Lake Regional Health Centre. She was 5
pounds, 13 ounces at delivery and went down to 5 pounds, 4 ounces at
departure. Sara was just over 19 inches long. |

Since this was a
planned C-Section, Deirdre experienced boredom this time rather than labor
pain's |
After Sara was
born, Daddy got some quiet alone time with Sara.....who took her new vocal
cords out for a nice test run |
Sara is also a
natural sleeper....slept well right away and is still sleeping well...knock
on wood!!!! |
And then we
introduced Kayla, the BIG sister, to her new baby sister....love at first
sight!!!!!! |
A few people did
come to visit, but we are sorry we did not get more pictures.....so to those
who were there but not here....sorry.....for those who were....enjoy!!!! |
Proud Daddy.......loving his new lttle girl!!!!
Still loving her!!!!
Very Proud Papa
Auntie Jane in for a visit....I think we have a new babysitter
Proud Grandma
Very proud....back at Sara's house
Right before Sara
was to go home, they decided to put her under the ultra violet lights to
help with the slight bit of jaundice she had. This was something we
originally worried about, but after we noticed how much Sara loved being
there, we were good. It seems Mommy will have someone to suntan with after
all....another sun worshipper!!!!
And of course,
when not smothering her with kisses, Kayla guarded Sara by playing on the
floor in the hospital....she was very adaptable and understanding of the
situation
Just to give some
perspective......Sara and Kayla's new doll

More to come and
as always, comments are very much welcomed |
